Heathens reached the desert unopposed
Their mounts gushing smoke, deaf’ning snarl
Edward’s fearless larks commenced attack
North and South, they’d stab and then disperse:
Ripping spear and then a fractal whirl
Wheels nigh touching, but never even graze.
Marcus’ legion slowly torn apart
The demon’s head thereupon exposed

Thrown from his damned machine
His frenzy would not cease
Till Edward’s hallowed hand
Ensnared the wounded Beast
